 OO talent
Jeremy Oddie, Head of Art at the School, reports on the exhibition of work from Old Oundelians at The Yarrow Gallery in March

It has been a real pleasure to welcome 14 Old OOs who earn their livings from making and creating.
Oundelian artists back to Oundle to exhibit their work in the Yarrow Gallery.
We started the OO Talent Exhibitions four years ago and
hope to continue to promote the work of current OOs who work in the creative arts, whatever form that might take.
I was thrilled with the positive and enthusiastic responses from all those who have taken part in this exhibition, which is designed to promote the creative arts within the School and to highlight the range of current
Sculptor Tom Hiscocks (St A 81) alongside the torso he made from corten steel with copper plate
We have painters, sculptors, jewellery designers and landscape designers as well as representation of ceramics, book design and fashion.
This wide variety of work highlights the opportunities open to our current pupils and the variety of creative careers available.
I would encourage any OOs who haven’t been represented in these exhibitions to get in touch with us and to help us promote their work too.
