The Micro Power Converter (MPC) is basically a power manager that can process power generated from external solar panels and external batteries. This means, you may attach any lead-acid battery (car battery) and get the full benefit of the inverter and charge controller present in this device to generate power for various utilities. The absence of built-in battery or solar facilities greatly reduces the price and puts a ordable o -grid technology in the budget of developing countries with large rural communities.
Sunsynk also o ers a system for mariners that will allow their vessel’s batteries to be charged during the day. The panels are light monocrystaline and can be attached to the vessel by either velcro strips or glue. Power passes through from the panels to one of our standard Micro Power Converters that analyses the condition of the vessel’s batteries and provides the right amount of power to keep the batteries at their best condition and extend their life.

By using digital sampling the Micro Power Converter measures the exact status of the battery then charges it with the correct amount of current preventing overcharging and damage the cells. One extra safety measure is that if the MP Conv. is hooked-up to a dead or damaged battery, the controller will not attempt to charge it.
