Artist’s Statement: My work often specializes in mind/body themes, with an emphasis on striving toward wellbeing. Stories are what connect us, and the medium I’ve chosen
for storytelling is the quiet beauty of a painting. I strive for an uncomplicated composition where color sets a mood, and the details add meaning. Whether a commission is humorous, informative, or serious in nature, in the visual stories I tell, I aim to connect and often comfort, through a sense of recognition. I reveal the common psychology in us all through small, universally human moments.
