Donation Overview.
Thank you for your interest in donating artwork to MUSC Children’s and Women’s Health. Our visual arts program celebrates the unique character of Charleston and the Lowcountry, with its rich history, natural and crafted beauty, and diverse cultural identity. The Arts Program represents the children, our environment, the state, and region. It draws upon creative work from artists to inspire, to welcome new life, and to delight, soothe, comfort, and calm our patients, families and caregivers.
The overarching thematic framework of the project; “Stories of the Lowcountry”, will be further enhanced through the de nition of a dynamic framework for the visual art program. This framework is intended to be layered over time, while staying true to its original theme and ideas, and provide a place of enrichment.
The Art Committee will review and select donated work that resonates with our “Stories of the Lowcountry” theme. The Arts Program will re ect that we, as a community of patients, families, and caregivers, are about our stories and our experiences.
