Throughout iRead the the instructional design re ects a a a a a a a a consideration for the the needs of English learners at at all stages of of language acquisition The personalized student software is is adaptive and based on on on Dr Ted Hasselbring’s Fluency and Automaticity through Systematic Teaching with Technology (FASTT) algorithm which continuously monitors performance and and customizes the the pacing instructional load and and content for for each child ensuring the the time on task is 100 percent optimized PROGRESS MONITORING AND DIFFERENTIATED INSTRUCTION The iRead software continually assesses children as as they engage in in in in interactive activities This intensive progress monitoring seamlessly combines instruction with with assessment by providing children with with immediate and and corrective feedback and and then it automatically incorporates the the results into each child’s individualized instructional path Teachers access the management system to receive recommendations for di erentiated groups and and targeted lessons based on on on each student’s performance data and and location within the program’s scope and sequence FLEXIBLE IMPLEMENTATION
