Title: Student Media Team Responsible Staff: Barb Nussbaum, Responsible office: Student Engagement
The Student Media Team supports the Student Engagement and Marketing Communications divisions by providing social media content and photo & video resourcing for student events and programs. The Media Team brings expertise to areas of photo and video for website, marketing and social media use. If you’re interested in utilizing the Media Team for student events, send requests with 2 weeks’ notice to the following email: student.media.team@my.wheaton.edu. Please include event name, timing, date, student group sponsoring, point person for the event, specific media requested.
Here are specific services the Media Team can offer student organizations:
• Event coverage via photos
• Facebook photo album
• Video highlights
o Potentialeventhighlightvideo
o Promotionalvideosforpre-events
• Informational videos and photos for website use
• Student Engagement Facebook promotions
• Photo campaigns
• Brainstorming new ideas for marketing/photo/video
• Plans for social media campaigns
Here are some things that Media Team cannot offer:
• Photo booths, but MT will consult on best practices
• Student leader head shots for entire teams
o Groupshotsonly
• MT can be hired independently for headshots
• A V requests for non-coffeehouses
o Groupswillneedtogettheirownmic/speakersystemfromAITifneeded
• Power Point management for worship events
• We can’t offer AV support in Coray due to the sound board that we don’t have access to. Groups
will need to contact AIT.
• Recording of entire events
