Remind your kid(s) that God has provided for our hopeless situation. Ephesians 2:1 says, “And you were dead in the trespasses and sins you once walked.” Talk about how God provided His Son Jesus for us in our hopeless situation. Tell them that God provides for us in other situations to remind us that He has provided for us in our greatest need. Get a chalk board, dry erase board, sticky notes, or whatever your family would like, and start writing on them how God has provided for your family in different ways. Do this for a month, or even a year, and then read them and be amazed of how God has provided.
Pray:
Each night take 5 minutes to pray together.
Below is a few special requests:
-Ask God to help your family see your hopelessness -Thank God for all the times He has provided for your family. Name some specific things He has done.
-Pray that your family would also be reminded that God helps us in our seemingly hopeless situations. -Pray for our college/singles group, The View, as many of them embark on a new semester at school.
