But adventures are difficult to spot. They hide away like precious treasure. Well it was quite clear to Rafe that there was no use sitting around waiting for these adventures to find him.... so he went looking for them himself.
Now every school holiday, Rafe, with his Mummy and Daddy, and brothers Ryder and Kit would all climb into one bed to plan their next adventure.
“Where shall we go this year?” asked Daddy. “Africa!” yelled Ryder and Kit.
“Wales, the seaside, the beach” suggested Mummy. All the while Rafe silently sat thinking.
“I know! Let’s do them both!” he announced.
“All of them Rafey? I’m not sure we’ll able to fit all that into one week” said his Mummy. “How ever will we get around?”
