3.3 Monitoring and Review
Monitoring and review (M&R) will be an integral part of the implementation of this Strategy and its responsibilities will fall directly under the Cen- ter’s Director. We cannot achieve any of the goals and intended results without the relevant data and learning obtained through monitoring and review- ing our work, which will provide the critical infor- mation for measuring our performance, making decisions, and achieving accountability to our stakeholders. Furthermore, M&R will provide ev- idence-based information on our relevance and performance as a critical component of UF/IFAS and its contribution to the goals of innovation, sus- tainability, food security, and competitive agricul- ture in south Florida.
We will implement a monitoring activity to keep track of how we implement our annual action plan, the use of our resources in the process, and the progress made in our achievements and results. We will base monitoring on the activities and re- sult indicators defined in the annual action plan. Information obtained will enable us to review the achievements and results of our Strategic Priori- ties.
