In the remote mountains of the Eastern Himalayas, this film follows a pair of rare, elusive, and irresistibly charming red pandas. These secretive cherubs of the treetops are filmed in the wild as they feed, court, mate, build nests and raise their newborn cubs. In parts a traumatic tale but this story ultimately has a happy ending.

The largest single concentration of whooper swans in China live on a newly and unintentionally created wetland. A remarkable place in the heart of central China, Sanmenxia Wetland Park consists of a 385 square kilometer reservoir, two artificial lakes and surrounding wetlands. It is estimated that over 10,000 whooper swans inhabit the park. ‘China’s Swan Lake’ shows the lives of a whooper swans family that live on the lake along with invasive black swans and blue herons.
