Remembering Judy Ackley
Pro Rodeo and many friends and fans have lost a great lady.... a one of a kind, in Judy Ackley. She was born January 17th, 1942 and left this world January 11th, 2021. Judy was truly one of the great secretaries in Pro Ro- deo. She lived and loved her job. She worked so many rodeos up and down the west coast, large and small. She was selected to work
the Wrangler NFR on two different occasions and was nominated as PRCA Secretary of the Year.
She lost her husband Dan, 3X NFR Steer Wrestler in 2018. She is survived by her daughter and son in-law, Holly and Gerald Bruhn, Sister Gloria Terlka, Grand- daughters Kari Harty, and Kathleen Olson, Grandson Robbie Olson, Great Grandson Xander Harty, and all of us who loved her dearly.
We Rejoice that there is not more suffering and she is back with her Husband and Best Friend Dan.
