in their inner man. He was particular about their spiritual growth and wellbeing, and never ceased to pray for them all as he often wrote in his letters.
As Paul himself said, we ought to imitate him just as he imitated Christ (1 Corinthians 11:1)! We ought to commit those given to us to superintend over to God so that they can be secured in the faith, and saved from being lost to the world. We need to travail in prayers until Christ is formed in them, they being our ‘little children.’
Touched by the Feeling of our Weaknesses
Hebrews 4:15 AMP
For we do not have a High Priest who is unable to sympathize and understand our weaknesses and temptations, but One who has been tempted [knowing exactly how it feels to be human] in every respect as we are, yet without [committing any] sin.
Jesus is the High Priest of every child of God and He fully sympathies with and understands our weaknesses and the temptations that we face. The King James Version (KJV) refers to this attribute of the Lord as being ‘Touched with the feeling of our
