BULLSEYE PRAYERS
God has respect for the prayers of those who are committed to His word and the prayers offered to embolden His servants to preach His word. It is doubtful that the average child of God commits to praying this prayer. This points to the adjustments that we must now make to our priority list of prayers because of the importance for the expansion of the kingdom.
No wonder we do not enjoy the ‘bullseye’ effect with our prayers. When last did you and I pray that God will embolden you to declare His word; to speak the word in season and out of season? That is assuming that you have ever done so? When have you ever fasted and prayed just to receive power to teach and preach the word like never before. Do you know that that is the core mandate given to each of us. To teach and to heal (Isaiah 61:1-3)? To pray in that manner is actually to pray that the will of God be done in our lives. Again, we can see that it falls squarely within the interest of God and God cannot but answer it speedily.
