BULLSEYE PRAYERS
At the dinner just before He lead the disciples out to the mount of Olives, He prayed expressing thanks for the communion that He served to them.
Matthew 26:27-28 NKJV
Then He took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, “Drink from it, all of you. [28] For this is My blood of the new covenant, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.
Then we find that in the face of the challenge of feeding over 5,000 men he gave thanks and praise yet again to God. He did not include anything else in His prayer.
Mark 6:41-42 AMP
Taking the five loaves and two fish, He looked up to heaven and said a blessing [of praise and thanksgiving to the Father]. Then He broke the loaves and [repeatedly] gave them to the disciples to set before the people; and He divided up the two fish among them all. [42] They all ate and were satisfied.
Lazarus was raised from the dead. The hungry men and their families were all fed and there were five baskets of crumbs gathered at the end of the exercise as leftover.
