strengthen his fellow apostles when he is recovered from the fall occasioned by satan!
Peter was obviously not spiritually strong enough to weather the storm that satan was bringing his way. Had Jesus not been on the lookout and prayed for him, Peter may not have recovered from his fall. This is one of the reasons that we must not leave our wives alone to walk the path on their own. We must provide spiritual oversight like Jesus did for Peter. We must take time to pray for them so that they can abide in the calling to cleansing to which they have been called.
