LAMP TEMPERATURE
Every light source has two distinct elements:
1) Brightness which is measured in lumens; this is the measure of the amount of light that is omitted from the product.
2) Colour temperature which is measured in kelvin and indicates how warm or cool the light is. Warmer lamps/LEDs have low kelvin numbers, cooler lamps/LEDs have high kelvin numbers.
Finding your LED Equivalent
WARM
Warmer whites are generally preferred for creating a more relaxed environment dining, living or reception areas.
COOL
Cool white is a good choice for retail and of ce environments where a simulated natural, outdoor light is preferred. Use in modern contemporary kitchens and bathrooms to complement the décor.
DAYLIGHT
Perfect for industrial and healthcare applications where the most natural light is required.
