Letter from the Editor...
The 2022 edition of the annual Maryland Polo Club magazine is here! Over a dozen dedicated polo-loving local photographers contributed to the images found in this issue. We had our biggest advertising and sponsorship response to date. The pages are filled with schedules, player bios, tournament results, photo contest entries, rules, games, MVP's, BPP's, tailgating scenes, event venue scenes, and business advertisements.
Our website has been updated as a source for week by week scheduling and full of information about what our club has to offer. As you navigate around www.marylandpoloclub.com, look for the digital version link of the ANNUAL MAGAZINE in the upper right-hand corner on the HOME PAGE. This digital version of the magazine will stay current for a year continuing to spread our sport and sponsorship beyond the hard copy publication.
It takes months and ongoing assistance to lay out this collection of archives from the previous season. I would like to thank each MPC photographer that responds to my emails and digs deep into their photo files for me at a moment's notice. One of Maryland Polo Club's most enthusiastic players, Katherine Pinkard, reached out to the Baltimore corporate world for new sponsorship, which brought improved awareness to the pages within the 2022 issue. Our club president and club manager, Liv and Nate Berube, acknowledged every tournament question that I had, and answered every one of my text messages from Aiken and Florida while I was designing the magazine!
The magazine is a group effort that our club looks forward to every year. We hope that you will pass it around your own community, too!
