Contracts were signed with the successful bidder for the project, K L Builders on the March 22, 2017. The project will be built as a when funds become available. The table on page 8 shows the items that have been instructed and the current need is for a further 30,309,343 NPR (approximately, equating to around $295,000).
Please consider making a donation. Details on how to donate to our building fund are on page 2. Donations will go to the Capital Costs of the project and will not be used towards the operational costs of KISC or EQUIP, both of whom operate from fee income or other donations.
Matthew 14 tells of the miracle of the ‘Feeding of the 5,000’. A boy offered what he had, 5 loaves and 2 sh. That’s not much when you consider the number of people that needed feeding. But in Jesus’ hands it became so much more.
“Bring them here to me,” Jesus said. Taking the ve loaves and the two sh and looking up to heaven, he gave thanks and broke the loaves. Then he gave them to the disciples, and the disciples gave them to the people. They all ate and were satis ed, and the disciples picked up twelve basketfuls of broken pieces that were left over. The number of those who ate was about ve thousand men, besides women and children.
Our offering, or donation, may be small in comparison to the target but in the hands of the Creator God, it can become so much more. Whether you choose to donate to the work of KISC, your local church, the child you sponsor, don’t hold back because you think it is not enough. God can take a humble offering and do incredible things.
