SECONDARY BLOCK
The area above is the construction work being done for the new Secondary Block. The Secondary Block will be three- storeys tall, have 26 secondary classrooms and two ICT labs. This will allow KISC to grow from 110 secondary students to 150. The funding for the Secondary Block has been covered and construcion has begun.
Some of the safety features, included in the design of the building, include: eartquake proo ng, two exits per classroom and an emergency external staircase. The cost of the staircase has not yet been covered.
THE REMAINING COST FOR THE EMERGENCY STAIRCASE IS $25,087 USD.
