FESTIVAL VILLAGE & MUSIC
The Festival Village was the largest ever with more taster activities, catering and retail opportunities for festival goers to enjoy. The ever-popular National Trust Activity Zone, Archery, Canoeing, climbing walls, the Freedrop Tower, Bike Airbag, giving visitors plenty of things to do as they roamed around the Festival.
Over 120 Sponsors & Exhibitors joined us in Festival village, all o ering a fantastic variety of information, inspiration and retail opportunities. O cial Camping Sponsors Summit To Eat o ered samples of their free dried meals among many more interactive and entertaining experiences for visitors.
Over 10,500 enjoyed The Music Nights Sponsored by Peugeot. The music opened on Friday evening with Absent Average, followed by Cumbrian based Lee Hawker. The returning Peatbog Faeries produced another memorable performance, then Cast closed out the festival to a packed crowd.
Saturday night brought sun and plenty of wind, but the crowds still came and the show went on. Local singer Erin Collins opened the music followed by cover band Noasis. British pop band The Christians got the crowds in the mood with KT Tunstall closing the show with an atmospheric performance as the sun set on the music at KMF 2017.
A wonderful experience with amazing views/ scenery/trails and people, one for diary again next year
