“I just like to have fun,” said Kovaciny. “I miss the kind of fun that you can only have when you have little kids. I’m not afraid to act funny...At my age, I am who I am. I’m just not going to change.”
With that declaration, Kovaciny carefully placed her toys back into the Scooby-Doo lunchbox as if she were handling diamonds. She closed the lid like it was a treasure box and gently locked the clasps.
Kovaciny put the lunchbox back on its shelf, all the while hoping there would come another day when she could take it down and make another child laugh with joy.
Practically all the small collectibles that Kovaciny owns have either been given to her or were going to be thrown away.
