ONE OF THE WORLD’S DARKEST HOURS
After two years of planning, we were prepared for GO 2020 with numerous ministries, denominations, and churches com- mitted. We were to be a part of 4 events with 5 M people each; we planned 40 events worldwide in hundreds of cities. But then came Covid-19, and it felt like the world stopped turning. The coronavirus crisis was the biggest one since World War
II. But Christian leaders still said that GO 2020 was unique-
ly placed in a time like this. Covid-19 stirred an urgency in prayer and evangelism. Churches were closed, and events got canceled. Yet with our vision of every believer being a witness, God made something incredible happen that no one expected.
WAS THE CHURCH‘S BRIGHTEST HOUR
THE RESPONSE: UNITY
The body of Christ responds to the crisis and more than 50 M Christians are standing together, praying to God, caring for those around them and sharing the Gospel. That is a unity the likes we have never seen before.
„What an amazing season from Passover to Pentecost 2020! In the midst of a global pandemic, we have seen a massive increase in prayer and unity in the body of Christ! It has been astounding to watch so many come together in an expression of John 17 ‘oneness’ across nations, denominations, and genera- tions for the fulfillment of the great commission!“

50 Nations sing Amazing Grace
The corona pandemic thrust the world into the biggest crisis since World War II. Many people are des- perate, looking for answers. Out of fear, people didn‘t leave their house. Even Time Square in New York City was empty.
Since the coronavirus broke out, many leaders believe GO 2020 is for a time like this. The vision still is to mobilize 100 million Chris- tians to pray and to share the Gospel.
This Pentecost 10 day period, was without any doubt, the ‘Largest Prayer Time in ALL recorded history!
