Flutgraben Performances is a series of 4 events per year, located at Kunstfabrik am Flutgraben Berlin and dedicated to the growth of artistic works before and after their release. It focuses on choreographic, dance, performance works in the broadest sense of the terms. It challenges the ways art works are presented by bringing them closer to how they are being produced and constantly transformed. Flutgraben Performances aims for going beyond the premiere as the exceptional encounter of work and audience and tries for more intimate and fragile as well as more continuous and steady engagement between the two. Flutgraben Performances is artist- run and self-organized. Every year it consists of a changing group of Berlin based artists.
