New Year, New Look
Back in July 2016 we launched the very first edition of the Connected Magazines with Shaw Connected and since then we’ve gone from strength to strength and now distribute 6 magazines each month to over 26,000 homes across Oldham. We had one goal in mind, to bring local communities across Oldham together and have local customers using local businesses.
When communities engage and interact with one another, they thrive, whether that’ s using a local business, attending a local event or donating to a local charity, and with the Connected Magazines this is what we’ve been working towards and with the feedback we receive every month both from advertisers and local residents we’ve been doing a pretty good job. But we’ve still got work to do.
Moving into the new year we’re launching our very own online local community website to help local residents find out about everything local. We’ll be publishing all the articles and content from our magazines on our new website along with details of all local events, local deals and offers and our online directory where you can find information on local businesses.
To coincide with the launch of our new online community, we’re giving our brand name and magazines a little bit of a facelift. Starting in the new year Connected Magazines will become Go Connected.
We’re still working really hard on our new look so we can’t reveal anything just yet but you’ll be able to get a sneak peak before the magazines go to print next year when we launch our new website on 21st December 2018, www.goconnected.co.uk.
Our magazines will still have the same great content each month but with a fresh new look, style and local features. So whether you read our magazines or visit our new website to find out what’s happening in Oldham, you’ll be supporting your local community.
Remember, go local, Go Connected.
