The New Waterfront District is a development by Solidere s.a.l. (Société libanaise pour le dével- oppement et la reconstruction de Beyrouth), the pioneering compa- ny responsible for the reconstruc- tion of the City Centre of Beirut.
The New Waterfront District is a modern extension of Beirut’s his- toric core, and will be developed as a vibrant mixed-use quarter. The District will be realised on a 73 hectare reclaimed land mass, and when complete the total de- velopment in the District will ag- gregate 1.7million m2 of built-up area.
Visionnaire completed the studies required to launch development in the District. In compliance with the approved masterplan, the team undertook strategic plan- ning, options appraisal, and the definition of massing and devel- opment parameters.
