Westown is a new urban develop- ment planned for a 14.M m2 site strategically located in Sheikh Zayed City, west of Cairo’s City Centre. The project is currently being developed by SODIC, for- merly in partnership with Solidere International.
Visionniare was engaged to pro- vide project and design manage- ment services for the 120,000 m2 (GLA) Wetsown Mall develop- ment, a superregional shopping and lifestyle centre to be realised during the first phase of the devel- opment.
For this project Visionnaire’s team prepared the development pro- gramme and development briefs, managed the RFP process, over- saw the appointment of an inter- national team of design and tech- nical consultants, and managed the design development process. Visionnaire collaborated closely with CallisonRTKL, the Seattle based architecture firm appointed to design the project.
