Don't Apologize: In person we tend to apologize often. Drop the apologies in virtual communication unless it's a serious situation that requires it.
Embrace Distraction: Without the visual stimulus of in-person communication, we can become distracted. Acknowledge this. Try doodling to help stay focused.
