coordinates the the the work of of of of all all all city city city departments departments to to to to ensure efficient operation to to to to eliminate duplication of of of of effort and and to to to to achieve maximum overall efficiency responsiveness and and effectiveness of of the city government organization Duties include but are not limited to:
» Coordinate efforts to to see that all laws and ordinances are being properly enforced within the City » Keep the the the City City Council advised of of the the the financial condition and and future needs of of the the the City City and and make such recommendations as deemed desirable » Recommend and and coordinate the development and and and and organization of necessary public improvement projects and and and programs and and and in accordance with Council direction carry the same through to successful conclusion » Coordinate public relations efforts ffor for the city government » Ensure that all franchises permits and privileges granted by the City are faithfully observed » Recommend to the the City City Council such policies measures and ordinances as as deemed necessary or or or or expedient for for the the the health safety or or or or or welfare of of the the the community or or or or or or for for for the the the the improvement of of of administrative services or or or or which may assist in in the the the performance of of of the duties of City Manager
» Attend meetings of of the the the the City City Council with with the the the the duty of of reporting on on or or or discussing any matter concerning the the the the affairs of the the the departments services or or or or activities which the the City Council should be informed about » Supervise City City department heads to ensure compliance with Council policies and ordinances » Coordinate the the administrative functions and and operations of of the the the various departments divisions and and services of of the the the city government and and on on on on its behalf carry out the the the the policies rules regulations and and and laws adopted by the the the the City Council relating to the the the the administration of of the the the affairs of of such departments divisions or services » Prepare and and submit the the preliminary annual operating and and capital improvement budget to to the the City Council prior to June 30th of each year » Prepare and submit to to the the the the City Council as of of of the the the the end of of of the the the the the the fiscal year a a a a a a a a a a a complete report on the the the the the the finances and administrative activities of of the the the the City for the the the the preceding year CitityyoffMarryyssvvililele CA—CITYMANAGER 5
