The next Executive Director will be an an an exceptional leader with an an an unflappable presence and the ability to to respond to the region’s challenges both strategically and and tactically The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical skills sound decision-making abilities and respected business practices Given the the issues and priorities facing SJCOG the the next Executive Director must possess a a a strong understanding of transportation transportation funding and and project delivery familiarity with regional transportation transportation and and and land use planning principles associated with demographics air quality affordable and and and market rate housing housing and and and and housing housing demand and and and and natural resource protection and and and and knowledge of the diverse issues facing urban urban suburban and rural areas In addition addition in in preparation for the recruitment input from Board members and additional stakeholders identified the the the following attributes and/or characteristics that would facilitate the the the success of the the the next Executive Director:
