The Board of Commissioners is is an elected five-member body that until recently was elected on on an at-large basis countywide However the next set of elections in 2020 will transition to district-based seats The Board adopts the budget sets policy establishes a a a a a a a a strategic plan serves on on relevant legislative and coordination committees with peer agencies at at the the state and and local level and and supervises the the General Manager The FY18/19 budget anticipates $13 1 1 1 1 million in total revenue Approximately 60% of the operating revenue comes comes from from property taxes while 40% comes comes from from user fees licenses permits and other enterprise sources The District has zero debt Click here to view the current budget GENERAL MANAGER
Appointed by and serving at the the the pleasure of of the the the Board of of Commissioners the the the General Manager Manager acts as the the Chief Executive Officer for the the District The General Manager Manager administers the the District and and has exclusive management and and control of the the operations and works of the the District District including day-to-day leadership for the the District District The General Manager will:
