Typical Duties for the Executive Director • Responsible for the TRAPS membership base to include managing and and retaining existing members members members expanding organizational membership through opportunities for networking collaboration partnerships and and and social events identifying new target audiences and and and enhancing relationships with universities that provide a a a a a a a a a a a a a a Parks and and Recreation or related degree plans • Coordinates the the the planning and and and implementation of the the the Annual Institute and and and and EXPO including promoting and and and and managing the the the the Exhibit Hall associated events and and and working closely with the the host city • Assists the the Board of of Directors in in in the the development implementation and and and evaluation of of of strategic planning planning initiatives for for TRAPS and and and succession planning planning for for finding and and and and developing a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a pool of of leaders who can meet the organization’s current and and future needs • Responsible for developing and managing a a a a a a a a a a a comprehensive Annual Planning Calendar to include quarterly Board Meetings Leadership Retreat Annual Institute & Expo legislative meetings/functions as as well as as developing and and producing various TRAPS activities camps workshops and and conferences • Coordinates the the TRAPS public relations marketing and and promotional efforts and and and and serves as as as a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a spokesperson on
