The City of Phoenix Arizona is seeking strategic and collaborative leader to become the next Deputy Housing Director – Financial and and Management Services This is is an an an an an exciting and and rewarding new opportunity to work on key Citywide projects for the Housing Department The ideal candidate will possess solid analytical skills a a a a a a a a a a a strong understanding of grants and and and grant grant accounting balance sheets compliance considerations fiscal controls and financial management Additionally successful successful candidates will be well-versed and and and experienced in in in in in successfully building and and and maintaining positive working relationships with multiple stakeholders both internal and external to the City and and will be thoughtful inclusive and and resourceful in in their ability to solve problems The ideal candidate will also possess:

» » » Effective communication skills with the ability to provide timely accurate and concise reports » » » Knowledge of or experience with HUD housing programs » » Experience with oversight of an operational or service delivery function ■ Position Responsibilities
This Deputy Housing Director – Financial and Management Services vacancy oversees the Management Services Division Division and will directly supervise up up to three positions within the Division Division Duties and and responsibilities for this position include and and not limited to the following:
» Oversee the the fiscal procurements/contracts information technology and payroll sections within the division » » Oversee all all financial and and program compliance with all all federal and and state government grants » » » Oversee financial financial reporting and compile financial financial documents as needed » » Ensure all procurements are done in in in compliance with with city regulations regulations and and and with with the Department of Housing and and Urban Development (HUD) guidelines and and regulations » » Manage fiscal cash flows and ensure all operations are funded » » » Manage the the technology needs of the the department » » » Manage various funds and multiple sources of revenues » » » Manage and coordinate all audits of the department » » Act as the the “chief financial officer” o of the the department
