CASE STUDY
Our client had been previously working unsuccessfully with other consultancies for a number of months on five senior roles;
• Business Development Director (Saudi Arabia) based Saudi Arabia
• Business Development Director (Middle East/Caspian/Africa) based UAE
• Vice President of Human Resources (Middle East/Caspian/Africa) based UAE
• Business Development Director (West Africa) based Nigeria
• ERP Development Manager (Global) based UAE
Our client had wasted a considerable amount of time interviewing people looking for a move, but not particularly interested and/or qualified for the positions on offer.
Strategy
Firstly we met all relevant stakeholders based in the UK/Houston Head Offices where we conducted a thorough and in-depth needs analysis which looked at soft skills, experience requirements as well as the employer brand. Through this process, we identified potential challenges that could hinder a successful outcome and we provided a consultancy service to address these challenges. We reassessed the job specification and completed our Vacancy Confirmation Report which was subsequently signed off by our client. Due to the challenges and the fact that the roles needed to be filled urgently as well as the required niche skill sets, we utilised a headhunt approach which was supplemented with contingency methods.
