PHOTOGRAPHY
Photography should look natural and never staged. Culinary Impressives should never look at or pose for the camera, and they should always be in action. We want the viewer to feel as if they are observing real moments, as they happen.
When showing more than one lifestyle image within a spread, two-thirds of the shots should be of people in a culinary setting, whether they are preparing a dish, enjoying a meal or entertaining at a dinner party. In some instances, it may also be appropriate to show people in action using a blurring effect. The other one-third should be a singular moment in their lives that sparked inspiration, such as admiring a sunset, walking through a vineyard or riding
a motorcycle along the coast.
