MODEL
Definition of Release 1.0
This is the official launch of our new operating model. Our Model includes our new organisation,
our process and automation improvements and our new agile ways of working across the entire IT organisation. We will be transparent in everything we do; you will know what we are working on, who to work with and we will measure business outcomes for the first time. We will be listening, learning and adapting in order to improve our predictability in our next release on 1st July 2020
Transparency Everywhere
We are working on Fixed Financial Capacity – as set by the ITSB and Business Portfolio Committees
Other elements of our organisation are tested and designed to be Lean and therefore cannot be customised, though we will continue to iterate until we meet our Lean targets.
Measure Business Outcomes for the 1st time
Understanding the specific role each business plays is critical, no more use of “the business” as a blanket term, this enables them to understand who to interact with when, why and how.
Where we are doing foundation work that will not be delivered in this release, it will be linked to the release it is serving – e.g. Predictability in 1.1
We are listening so that we can quickly Test, Learn and Adapt
We will make it easy to do business with us . One size does not fit all. Certain elements of the organisation can be customised to fit the business unit.
Our new ways of working have been designed, we know who holds the baton at each step of the way, who are the supporting team roles, when and which ceremonies apply.
