I initially joined Target as an Architecture Project Manager and managed a number of new store and remodel projects. The project shown on this page and the next represents a truly unique proj- ect that I managed as the APM. This was Target’s first “ground- up” multilevel store that required close collaboration with a wide range of departments in order to develop the two level prototype. This project was also part of a contentious development that re- quired building strong relationships with community leaders, neighborhood groups and agencies having jurisdiction.
