TEA U94 PTT Overview: The U94 PTT from TEA is one of the most rugged and popular tactical push-to-talk switch on the market. Compatible with a wide range of TEA and other legacy headsets the U94 was designed to meet the needs of some of our most elite customers.
The Dual U94 Push-to-Talk has that ability to simultaneously connect and communicate on 2 different devices. This specific version of the Dual U94 (RADIO+ICS) is configured for COM 1 and PTT 1 to key your attached primary radio and COM 2 is wired to plug directly into the aircraft's on-board intercom system. The 2nd button on the Dual U94 is removed so that you only need to key using the push-to-talk switches/devices located within the aircraft. When exiting the aircraft you simply have to disconnect from the ICS and your primary radio is ready to go for ground operations.
Even when submerging in water the Dual U94 will remaining fully functional if the aircraft or COM 2 down-lead exposed to water. we recommend wiping the connector off prior to use on ICS.
