Suzy X. lives in Brooklyn, New York. She is a staff illustrator at Rookie Mag and Bitch Magazine, and writes about music for MTV Iggy, Rolling Stone and Impose Magazine. She volunteers regularly at the Willie Mae Rock Camp For Girls, and sings in feminist witchcore band Shady Hawkins. Her hobbies include putting off the next issue of her Very Serious Zine entitled Malcriada, archiving her teenage diaries for a nostalgia blog called The Mallgoth Chronicles, and doing VH1 Divas impressions at karaoke.
