What led to you to write/publish ‘Not Straight Not White Not Male’?
up in NSNWNM, i never even intended to create a zine. i was spending a lot of time alone at a very sad point in my life which led to merciless introspection. i also felt i was divorcing from a very white and hetero and macho scene (the vegan straightedge) and wanted to discuss my personal oppressions and microaggressions as a queer female of color in a community that wasn’t very nurturing of those types of dialogues. i felt like there were a lot of things about me that my friends would never understand if i didn’t initiate the conversation

What are your comparisons of zine-writing vs tumblr-ing?
no, i don’t realistically see another zine coming to fruition
NSNWNM- adding to it, deleting whole pages, attaching amendments and follow-up analyses to year-old essays; the second reason being that i am only ever motivated to write things that are thematically appropriate for this zine. so the
