Kopano Mokoro Community Trust (OKMCT) at Boro
village emerged the winner of Nkashi Classic 2023. He
was crowned the Okavango Delta’s Fastest Poler by the
Minister of Environment, Natural Resources Conservation,
and Tourism Hon. Philda Kereng and BWBT Managing
Director Koketso Mookodi. Kedisa walked away with a
P40,000 cash prize, which included P10,000 that went to
his Community Trust.

a grand view of the race as multitudes of people from
Maun and around Botswana came to enjoy and celebrate
the tradition and culture of the people of the river at the
Nkashi Classic.
