The Officers of Elite Forces, Chap- ter VI, held a ZOOM Meeting to develop future ZOOM Meetings for the Chapter. It was agreed to re-establish a monthly meeting day for the second Tuesday of each month at 1:00 pm commencing on Tuesday, February 9, 2021, and every 2nd Tuesday of each month until meetings in person are al- lowed. You can see Terry Gannon, Bill Johnson and Bob Getz on the ZOOM Organizational Meeting

Chapter VI Remember when ...
On May 29, 2000, one of our Sky Soldiers, Jose Palacios, participated
in a Memorial Day event in Stream- wood, IL. At the time, He was a member of Streamwood’s VFW Post 5151 and President of Elite Forces, Chapter VI. He and two others were dressed in Vietnam fatigues and car- ried Vietnam weapons.
If you may recall, there is a statue of three Vietnam Soldiers at the Wall
who represent those who were Killed in Action (KIA). Jose and the others were hidden behind a wall as the cer- emonies began. When the time came for a recognition of those who were KIA in Vietnam, you could hear rifle fire and explosions as these three men came over the fence and formed in the same manner as the statue.
