My first attempt in keyframing succeeded in this project. I designed the main layout in procreate, and saved the elements individually in order to give movement in the animation afterwards. The whole theme was inspired by retro video games with pixelated characters. This project was intended for the online student orientation (10th graders) so that they could know us better in a fun and unique way.
As for the color scheme, I went with a slightly muted light blue, so that it would appear softer and achieve the vintage video game vibe. The background music choice was also a crucial part for animation. I looked up royalty free 8-bit instrumental track and tried to match it with the vibe of the animation. Overall, I learned a lot from making this project. It unlocks doors and ways to keep improving my skills in design and animation.
