The 3” Blacko Ball Valve has a 3” nominal bore throughout the valve. This provides an ideal valve for all types of product, especially those products with high viscosity as there are no obstructions within the aperture of the valve. The main seals within the valve are PTFE. The body and ball are made from 316 stainless steel. This combination gives corrosion resistance to aggressive environments and spillage. This valve is also available with a stem heating facility - a stainless steel jacket with 0.5” NPT stem connections.
The 3” Blacko Ball Valve is available with either a hollow or solid, plain bore ball. The valve is available with an optional drainage facility, in either left or right hand configuration, or without TIR facility. All welds are fully homogeneous to ASME design requirements. Sealing faces have serrations for efficient sealing with PTFE gaskets. The valve is available with several inlet bobbins, 3” TTMA being the one featured. Several outlet bobbins are also available, 3” NPT being the one shown. Others can be supplied on request.
