Each year at the Goodwill Power of Work Luncheon, it is our honor to recognize an influential leader who is making our community a better place to live and work. This year we honor Linda Childears, President & CEO of the Daniels Fund.
For nearly twelve years, Linda Childears’ leadership at the Daniels Fund has reflected her strong dedication to honoring Bill Daniels’ philanthropic intent. The late cable television pioneer, Bill Daniels, established the Daniels Fund to make life better for the people of Colorado, New Mexico, Utah, and Wyoming through its grants, scholarship, and ethics programs. Linda’s dedication to community service goes above and beyond her role at the Daniels Fund. Having served on dozens of nonprofit boards including the Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce, Denver Police Foundation,
and Mountain States Employers Council, Linda’s commitment to civic engagement is testimony to her passion for improving our community. Named one of the 25 Most Powerful Women by the Colorado Women’s Chamber in 2014, Linda also received the Del Hock Lifetime Achievement Award from the Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce in 2016.
In her service to Colorado and beyond, Linda is one of the most influential leaders in the Rocky Mountain region.
