Unilever FMEA: Failure mode effect analysis Template
• Failure Mode Effect Analysis is a risk assessment management tool that helps assess the risk for any new method, process or project that is to be implemented. With this tool suppliers can learn best practices related to the prevention, detection and rejection of foreign material.
• Suppliers need to develop and submit to UL a Risk Assessment tracker associated with each of the relevant FM best practices they would implement to reduce/eliminate FMs in order to track its progress and evaluate its effectiveness.
• UL is providing a risk assessment template (FMEA) as an option to complete and submit. Suppliers may also submit their own risk assessment tool tracker if preferred.
