Fresh concrete placed requires general cleaning to remove dust, laiteance and form release compounds to a minimum of CSP-1 (Per, ICRI Selecting and Specifying Concrete Surface Preparation).
Application Tip: During hot conditions, pre-saturate the substrate with potable water to SSD condition to cool down the surface.
Apply 1st coat of P-1007 at a coverage rate of 150-200 SF/GAL with Low Pressure Pump Up Sprayer - Actual rate of consumption is dependent on concrete mix design, w/c ratio, and degree of porosity.
Application Tip: Saturate surface evenly to refusal when a light sheen appears on the concrete surface - Broom or squeegee pooled material to areas revealing rapid absorption.
Apply 2nd coat of P-1007 at a coverage rate of 150-200 SF/GAL with Low Pressure Pump Up Sprayer after 20-40 minutes. Apply in same manner.
Mist Coat: Apply 1st Mist Coat of potable water 30-40 minutes following the 2nd application by lightly misting the surface with potable water only.
Mist Coat: Apply 2nd Mist Coat of potable water 30-40 minutes following the 1st Mist Coat by lightly misting the surface with potable water only.
