As envisioned by Drexel University Online’s president, Susan Aldridge, PhD, VRtifacts+ – a rst of its kind repository – will empower faculty and instructional designers to seamlessly incorporate 250,000 augmented, virtual and mixed reality learning objects across a wealth of disciplines into the University’s online coursework.
PRACTICE
Closely simulating real-world experience, Practice (formerly known as Apprenet) curates interactive learning that lets students showcase performance- based skills. Students submit videos of real-world skill challenges that are reviewed by faculty, peers and outside experts – all of whom submit their own videos too.The activity builds a dynamic virtual learning community with high student and faculty interaction.
SIMULATION LAB
The College of Nursing and Health Professions’ 25,000-square-foot simulation laboratory captures video and audio of simulation experiences for evaluation and re ection.The simulation lab exposes participants to a multitude of scenarios and prepares professionals to act intelligently, decisively and calmly on the job.
