WELCOME TO SYDNEY RACING
Dear Owners and Trainers,
The Directors and Management of the Australian Turf Club warmly welcome you back for what will once again be a fantastic Spring Racing Carnival in Sydney.
This booklet provides you with all the information you should need about our flagship race days at both Royal Randwick and Rosehill Gardens between August and November. Featured in this publication, is the Everest Carnival, taking place from 16 September to 11 November, which attracts the best racehorses in the world to Sydney.
The Everest Carnival will once again include a total of 47 Black type and feature races. Racing NSW and the Australian Turf Club are pleased to offer a total of $82,840,000 in prizemoney across the Everest Racing Carnival including an increase in prizemoney for the period of $15,545,000.
This includes some important changes to the pattern race programme during the September and October recently announced by Racing NSW, including increases to flagship races such The TAB Everest, now conducted for $20M and the repositioned G1 King Charles Stakes at $5M (formerly the George Main Stakes).
At the Australian Turf Club we always prioritise horse owners and I refer you to our Owners Experience Managers Ms Veronica Melick and Mr Greg McGuiness, who will be available to assist in all your race day requirements and to help with any queries you may have.
Included in this publication are the current race programme, information on racecourse facilities and overviews of the various race meetings.
