P. 77

Why don’t all projects look the same? We want people to make a decision based on information – the quality and types of that information will vary by topic. The sheer range of decisions governments are required to make and the different inputs they require provides a wider range of engagement options. The context of each project will not only ultimately inform the end decision itself, but the processes that are used along the way. These vary from how many people are involved in the decision, how much time they have to make the decision and what level of authority or complementary role they play in already established political institutions. 75
