 Solving hard political issues with randomly selected people, time and deliberation requires unique process design that takes into account the context of a decision. There are a number of core elements that focus on who is involved in a process, what decision is being made, what question is posed, and the logistics of time, place, size and scale. Each element is unique to a specific project, however, there are general principles and guidelines that apply. These guidelines inform which direction or aspect of each element is changed to accommodate contextual elements. 95
